All about Garrett's Lore
Bio
Born in Macon, GA. I lived in a couple different places in Georgia before moving to Wyoming at the age of 8. We stayed there for 6 months, then moved to Washington State where we lived for 4 or 5 years. After that we moved back to Georgia where I finished high school and where my family still currently resides.
I graduated high school in 2020, and then enrolled at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA. I thought I had made a mistake taking out a student loan, so after about 2 weeks on campus, I withdrew and moved back home with my parents.
For the rest of 2020 and for the beginning of 2021, I worked at Old Navy, and I got my LDS mission call to go to Guatemala. Due to COVID, my MTC experience was online, and then I went to Utah for 3 months while waiting for Guatemala to open up again.
I returned from Guatemala in March of 2023. Pretty quickly I moved up to Stone Mountain, GA with a cousin to work at a pest control company, and then once the summer hit I flew out to Orange County, CA to work sales with a different pest control company and with some friends I made during my time on the mission in Utah.
That summer of sales was an awful experience, and after that I moved to Provo, UT and did school online. I did not enjoy doing that, and at some point I decided to sell my lease, and move back home to Georgia.
This puts us at the beginning of 2024, I am back in Georgia and decide to enroll at Middle Georgia State University, and that semester goes pretty well. Over the summer I work with a different pest control company in Dallas, and instead of sales I just do the technician work. Once I finished the summer, I went back to Georgia and I was hanging out with my cousin, Parker, and long story short, he got me to transfer to Southern Virginia University to run cross country and track.
So that's where I went. I applied there, and within the week was driving up to begin the semester. I went to SVU for 3 semesters, and then transferred to Columbus State University in Georgia, mostly for financial reasons.
